Please don’t act like Ao3 is for kids. It is not. It’s an unrestricted place to post your own content, created by people who wanted specifically that. I only recommend letting kids use it if you are unworried about them stumbling upon something, which will usually always happen. Also, your words about tags is fundamentally incorrect. You can get reported for not tagging warning correctly, and will probably get your work taken down if you don’t fix it. Any work without any tags at all is.. also just very hard to find, considering you can’t search for it. You talk about things like Ao3 is included in it, but most of your points don’t actually apply, such as the tagging or the commenting being unregulated. The authors regulate the comments. They can delete comments if they don’t like it, and you’ll be hard pressed to find a nasty comment unless it’s just made, or the author doesn’t care. Of course, comments are naturally hidden anyway, you have to press a button to see them, so just tell them not to. Your example of “not being professionally edited” is one of the worst ones I’ve ever seen, so good luck on finding that with a couple seconds of searching. It’s very, _very_ rare to find anything close to that, and even if you do, it’s not a real issue. Ao3 isn’t _meant_ to be “professionally edited”. Sure, people CAN if they want, but it’s not for that. It’s for people to post fanfiction they’ve written without restraint. Just reached the end. I get it now. You’re using useless arguments to provoke a fear response so people get your app. What was that about “data privacy being a concern”? I guess instead of funneling it through Ao3 on the off chance it happens, they should just give it to you instead.

If the child has an android and uses the "Pop-up view" feature, they can bypass many of the securities of the phone. Other apps have a internet blocker which would be good for this app.....
